ARRIVAL BY PLANE AND RENTAL CAR

All four of our properties are very easy to reach by car and located near the town of Pienza in the Province of Siena, an 40 minute drive west from the A-1 autostrada. Below are the major airports in Italy with the approximate driving times to our area.
Florence 1.5 hours
Rome 2.5 hours
Pisa 2.5 hours
Venice 3.5 hours
Milan 5 hours

We recommend that you arrive either by:
1) renting a car at the airport and driving directly to us, or
2) by taking the train to the Terontola-Cortona train station and renting a car there.

ARRIVAL BY TRAIN AND RENTAL CAR

The closest train station is the Terontola-Cortona station on the main line between Florence and Rome. If you prefer to arrive this way, let us know and we’ll be happy to give you recommendations for car rentals from the train station.
